On March 26th I was honoured to be the musical guest at an art show hosted by my daughter Jessica.The evening was a great success and a number of paintings were sold to raise funds for Gilda’s Club in Barrie; an organization that provides support for cancer patients and their families.

Every year a compilation CD is produced in conjunction with an art auction with all proceeds going to "Hamilton out of the cold". This year, I was asked to contribute a song to the cause - it was called "The Barrier". The CD was released last week, and already a substantial amount of money has been raised. 'No Other Way' CD Release Party

My new album 'No other way' is complete and has arrived safely from duplication. I will be celebrating with a release party on January 28, 2010 at 7:00 pm at the Downtown Arts Centre, 28 Rebecca Street, Hamilton, Ontario. Also featured will be an art show/sale of original works by artist Jessica White. Proceeds will be going to the 'Good Shepherd Center' (please refer to my blog for suggested items in need at the center).

Gordie's Grand Goodbye

Gord Aust's memorial was held Friday, August 21st. It was a huge success. Gord will be remembered by his contribution to the general aviation community in Canada. We had several hundreds of people at the event and raised some money for the Carpenter Hospice in Burlington, Ontario.
